Konstantinos “Kostis” Tsiklitiras was one of the greatest Greek athletes of the 20th century. Born in Pylos, he distinguished himself internationally in the standing long jump, winning Olympic gold and silver medals. His character and way of life made him a symbol of excellence and courage, and his memory lives on through Tsiklitiria.
